We took the boys to a studio to be photographed for the first time ever! Rowen's were always done at daycare or by our friend who does custom portraits. However, Olly goes to a couple of friend's that stay home with their kids, and our friend is having a baby so is unavailable until June. I was please with how these turned out, and we have lots and lots of prints, so just let us know which ones you'd like!

The Two Most Handsome Boys in the World!
Happy Valentine's Day
Oliver in February
Oliver was two months old during February. Towards the end of the month he began reaching for and playing with his hanging toys on his bouncy seat and playmat. He is much more alert, watching all of us as we move around the house and smiling when we talk to him. These are only a part of February's pictures, the rest haven't been uploaded yet, so look for them soon!February saw Bill and Rowen both plagued with sinus infections. I just had a mild cold, and quite honestly, Olly's basically had a touch of a cold for most of his short life so far! Nothing needing more than a little TLC, but right now he's pretty stuffy! Poor guy--but you wouldn't know it by the playing he's doing right now!
Olly also started sleeping for long stretches during late January. He will usually sleep from about 7 p.m. to either 2 or 4, and then go back to bed until we wake him to get ready for the day. He's quite a cat napper by day (just like his big brother was)!
Rowen is really loving having Olly around. We offered to sell him so that we could buy Rowen some model trains, and Rowen didn't think that was a good idea at all! That's how we knew he was loving having Olly around! Big deal for Rowen to pick something over trains!! :)
Blizzard!
The blizzard at the beginning of February allowed me to have three extra days of maternity leave. What a great surprise, though it did just drag the anxiety/worry out a little. But, we took advantage of the time together. Rowen & I did many scavenger hunts and even made ice cream out of snow (top left and bottom right pictures). The top right picture was one of Rowen's scavenger hunt tasks--putting on the biggest pair of shoes he could find. The bottom left picture is another task--putting on six shirts. Notice the messy room behind him--we later did a scavenger hunt that resulted in him picking up a lot of his room, with clues like "pick up 6 pieces of train track" and "find any empty wrappers." Worked like a charm! Maybe we'll have to do that again today, as it is just as bad now!
Oliver in January!
Sweet Rowen!

Mega was in a car accident in January. Rowen made her this sweet get well soon card all on his own. The left picture is her apartment building--a pretty good representation too! The words say "Get well soon! Sorey you slipet on the road and hited a truck. I hope you get well soon! I love you Mega. That is true. Lime green your favorite."

Where does the time go?
I can't believe that the last time I updated Olly was 5 weeks old and now he is just about 13 weeks old! He is truly a blessing to us. He sleeps well at night, usually from between 7-8 p.m. until about 4 in the morning to eat, and then back to bed. Sometimes he even treats us to skipping the 4 a.m. feeding! He has begun to play with the toys on his bouncy seat, swatting and grabbing at them. He rolls over on occasion if given tummy time. He is definitely more serious and reserved than Rowen was at this age--not quite as smiley and talkative, but does definitely do both, just not as frequently as Rowen did. Hoping this means he'll be a little calmer during his later years, unlike Rowen! :) Rowen is loving being a big brother a little more every day. Today when I got home from work, Bill was in the bathroom pottying and Rowen had just unbuckled Oliver from his carseat. Oliver was crying because he was hungry, so Rowen was helping him. Sweet boy! I'm adjusting more every day to being back at work, though a big part of my heart doesn't come with me there! Pictures to come soon!
